Siena College Reviews
Rating 3.65 out of 5 904 reviews
Siena is an awful school. I decided to commit here because they gave me and literally everyone else a huge scholarship. They give off this impression that they are this fun, happy, inclusive school and "one big family." But this is far from the truth. Because it is so small everyone here gets into these "cliques" and never allows anyone to join in. Most people here either are going to transfer, want to very badly, or are a part of the problem.Don’t even get me started on the food. I can’t even tell you how many people have gotten food poisoning including me. I wish someone told me not to go here. Save your time, money and sanity. I am transferring next semester!
Siena College is a very small-close knit community. There is always a familiar face wherever you go and that is very welcoming! Again, the college is small.
Every dorm hall is a prison cell except for Snyder Hall. Paying $5,000 is worth it for that hall only. Good luck trying to party on campus, public safety officers won't even let the 21 year olds drink outside of their townhouses. Parking? There is none, instead, we wanted another science hall. And guess where that went? On the parking lot grounds. This college wants to dorm more students every year because they are money hungry. They have now accepted so many freshman, that the "doubles" are now forced triples. I barely had enough room in my freshman dorm with one other roommate, I can't even imagine putting three boys into a small room with no working A/C in the warmer months. Placed 4th in Mocca.com's top 25 U.S. colleges with the worst dorms. Food is okay at best, also placed on Mocca.com's top 25 worst colleges list for it's food, placing at number 20. You know it's bad when everyone is hype for "chicken nugget fridays" because everything else they serve is hot garbage.
