We went at night about 10 pm; I wouldn’t spend too much time in there but the artwork up above on the walls were quite nice and it was fun to spin *counterclockwise* on the bull’s missing ball lol. It was a cute memory and video of me and my partner taking turns doing a spin for good luck as they say. Just take a stroll; there’s a nice ambience at night outside by the Duomo as well

The upstairs food court and outside market are open daily. The downstairs market, which caters to locals, is closed on Sunday. There is something for everyone. The upstairs has free public toilets.

Nice environment & nice landmarks to admire! Stunning in the evening with nice bars. Clean streets and markets. Recommend going, in the heart of Verona.

OH MY WORD!!! Do not miss the palace or the grounds. We’ve traveled the world and we were shocked that we had never heard of Palazzo Islo Bella! Give yourself three hours to shop, tour, see the palace, and the unreal gardens!!

What a spectacular complex. I would not very well known outside Piemonte. The gardens a parklands are huge , apparently the largest Royal Park in Europe ?

Book in advance for access to the rooftop and see Venice from up high. It’s free and there are lifts to take you up to the 4th floor and then a staircase to the viewing area. Highly recommended.

Place not to be missed, authentic food and fish market with great atmosphere. The fish section is fatntastic and eye-catching. If you like fishes you have to come and taste from fresh meat starters to grilled fishes or octopus. Oyster (1,5-2 Euro) portion of sea urchins (5Euro). Even if you will not pick any fish is interesting just to watch around. Open everyday till 15:00.

I requested that Marco create a cameo of my wife with her horse. It is amazing. He took so much time and effort to create a one of a kind piece my wife will treasure always. He also made the effort to ensure the piece was what I wanted from start to finish. What a talented person!

I love markers, real markets where locals shop, where one buys fruit and vegetables in season and get the vibe of the place. Queuing often leads to chats with locals even if only by sign language where common language isn’t available. The Rialto market is a particular favourite with wonderful fish and seafood and vegetable stalls selling an immense range of fruit and vegetables. Vendors were without exception friendly and welcoming and helpful in selecting produce.

I try to visit an art museum in every city that I visit rarely doing any research other than looking it up on TripAdvisor. This museum was an unexpected gem with a great renaissance collection! It was pouring outside which only encouraged me to stay longer. Don’t miss if you’re an art museum lover and you’re in the area.

A building with a studded facade - hence the diamond reference. it is quite a sight. Unfortunately we were not able to go into the building with its famous art work as it was being renovated

Definitely skip Prada and Gucci as the items they stock are made for outlet and of way worse quality (hence why the stores are comparatively so big). You're better off going to Chloe or YSL for more mainstream luxury brands that are actually stocking out of season goods. If you can spend, Loro Piana was amazing.

If you compare with Milano it’s small, plenty of people in budget stores, not much in more expensive ones.
