Who knew? I went to the 80th D-Day anniversary at the French Embassy and met D-Day veteran Steve Melnikoff of Woonsocket, and Woonsocket High and URI!! Wow.

Out of over a thousand scenarios that have been run, there are only a dozen or so that put us on a reasonable pathway to climate safety. They almost all put us over the 1.5 degree safety limit for a while.

Every scenario that gets us on a path to climate safety requires putting a price/penalty on carbon and other GHG emissions, so we have to quit dawdling on that. Every scenario requires CO2 clawback, so carbon capture technologies, particularly direct air capture, are essential.
