She was predeceased by : her husband Michael Chisholm; her parents, Georgia Sterns and J. C. Sterns; and her nephew Jordan Sterns. She is survived by : her children, Dustin Chisholm (Stacey) of Sulphur, Casey Chisholm (Emily) of Lake Charles and Jessica Richter (Justin) of Norman, OK.; and her siblings, Linda Hayes (Jerry) and Darrell Sterns (Donna).

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff (2171 US-171, Lake Charles, LA 70611). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Sheila would have wanted donations to some of her favorites: Moss Bluff Bible Church, Camp Pearl, Gideon International, St. Jude, The American Heart Association (Jump Rope for Heart), Samaritan's Purse, and The Wounded Warrior Project.
