American singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams has announced her sophomore album “The Secret of Us” will be released on June 21, 2024 via Interscope Records.
The album comprises 13-track, produced by American rock band The National's Aaron Dessner as with her debut album “Good Riddance”.
Gracie Abrams shared on social media, “'THE SECRET OF US' the album that I made with some of my favorite people (!!!!!!!!!!) is yours JUNE 21. We had real, true fun writing this album. There were also the occasional tears.”,
From the album, she released the first single called “Risk” along with a music video on May 1, 2024.
The track was written by Audrey Hobert and Gracie Abrams. Produced by Aaron Dessner and Gracie Abrams.
The accompanying video was directed by Audrey Hobert.- Gracie Abrams said of the song, “Audrey and I wrote 'Risk' on our couch at home. Aaron produced the sh*t out of it. Abby shot the cover.”
She continued, “Audrey Hobert wrote the treatment and directed the video. This is fully hers. Working together on set and at home on our couch is the most fun I have ever had in my life. She is brilliant in all the ways. Love you Aud. We hope you all love our song.”
Gracie Abrams will appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform “Risk” on May 8, 2024. -
