So, why hasn't anyone made a beaver based superhero called Iron mouth?

Nobody gave a dam.

...Until I put on these teeth

Why would you shoot a woodchuck before chucking a woodcock out of a plane, chuck?

someone hasn't seen Jaws in the Spy Who Loved Me or Moonraker, though he's 100% a villain

I think enough time has passed for this not to be considered a spoiler, but he is somewhat redeemed. 90% a villain? 🧐

The Ironteeth are a faction in the game Timberborn.

They just call him Rusty nowadays

He wanted to join Alpha Flight but got rejected. They already had a short hairy guy named Puck.

It's also because they very rarely develop good brushing habits as young beavers.

Also it's well known 1 in 3 beavers chain smokes Parliaments whenever they're not building stuff in the woods

More like trees

the ones i saw on vacation oddly enough were smoking camels 🐪

You saying these guys are responsible for those damn dams AND forest fires. They obviously aren’t using matches or lighters right or disposing of their butts properly because they don’t have fingers.

Only the beavers that are commissioned officers get to smoke parliaments. The enlisted worker beavers are only issued tobacco and rolling paper and no filters. They have extra yellow teeth.

You joke but rodents’ teeth keep growing through life.

The reason they remain so sharp is because the tongue-side enamel is slightly softer(still hard) than the outside enamel. Their lower teeth graze the inside of their upper teeth when the bite.

All this together constantly sharpens the two front teeth, wearing it down to an edge, but it keeps growing from the base.

Squirrels too I guess?

Nah, squirrels just drink too much coffee. Seen how hyper those critters get?

All rodents and shrews

According to the article you link, and my eyes, it's not yellow. It's a "distinct orange hue"

Yeah...iron. My teeth must be soooo strong.

‘Mama said the beavers teeth are yellow because he’s got big old teeth and no tooth brush.’ - Bobby Boucher probably.

Any interesting facts?

The iron is concentrated between the tiny crystals that make up the tooth enamel and replaces magnesium that we have in our teeth. The magnesium contributes to solubility and can dissolve leading to cavities

Eww

The teeth of steel.

And all this time I just assumed beavers were vicious chain smokers.

Also, their teeth only have the enamel in front. The backside is bone, which erodes faster, creating self-sharpening teeth.

Do you know which part of a beaver is used to make vanilla flavor? Guess..

u/psuedonymously avatar

Makes sense, as iron is famously yellow

And the gland in the butt hole help flavor the artificial vanilla you like so much. Mmmmm natural flavors
