- Phillygirlagain384 contributionsBeautiful place to walk around and get picsThis is a lovely place to walk around. Because I had work all day, I woke up early in the morning to go see anywhere that would be open in the wee hours. This was such a nice place to wander around in take in the scenes.Visited March 2023Travelled on businessWritten March 12, 2023
- Robert K5 contributionsNice views, good coffeeIf your legs can handle it, be sure to climb the stairs. If you are young at heart, go down the slide to the bottom. Very good coffee in the restaurant by the clock tower. The prices are, of course, suitable for the serious attraction of the city, but not excessive. A must visit if you are in the center of Graz.Visited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten April 15, 2023
- maksisRiga, Latvia177 contributionsThe Place in GrazIf you are very short of time then Schlossberg easily could be the only attraction/place to visit in Graz. Panoramic view, nice surrounding, historic buildings, good coffee. To get everything in one glimpse, 1h is ok, rushed though. To enjoy it, should be expected that 2+h would be needed.Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten July 28, 2023

Amazing views. We went uphill with the elevator, a little expensive but ok since the day we went going downhill with the funicular was free, so it was OK. Good that visiting the hilltop was free, there was a small Christmas market but food stalls were great.

The view over Graz is just astonished. It is really worthwhile to climb the 260 stairs and have a look on different steps over the city.

This is probably the best part of Graz. You can have a full soothing day there. The views are spectacular.

We came through a tunnel with different colors of light illuminating it, and then through a beautiful park. You can reach the top by walking the many stairs (that's how we went back down) and by cable car. There is also a tunnel through which you can get to the bottom - Schlossbergrutsche - The Slide Graz.
There is a wonderful view of the city, and Schlossberg itself is a true oasis of peace. There were not many tourists when we visited, but I believe that everyone can find their own peaceful corner and enjoy the view, reading, or talking.
Be sure to visit, it is located not far from the city center.

Wonderful panoramic spot and chill out park. Nice Russian stairs climb and if you want cable car. Lot of options to go back to the city including a huge slide.

Buongiorno,
sarò a Graz alcune ore e volevo salire sullo Schlossberg con la funicolare e desideravo sapere se la torre dell orologio e le altre attrattive sono vicine alla fermata della funicolare o dell ascensore. Quanto tempo servirà x la visita? Grazie Beatrice
