If you are a foodie you will be disappointed. Coffee the same like cakes average. The cream from tarts with fresh fruit was tasteless. The service is great. Maybe the chocolates are "their thing" but thats all.

The good news is - you get a table pretty fast even if the place is packed. The bad news is that the servers are super stressed (but still friendly) and some people sitting there don't know to behave (watching a youtube video without earbuds...really???)....But that coffee specialties and the cakes make up for a lot (hence only 1 point deduction)...especially the new Spanish vanilla cake and the chocolate berry cake were just incredible...these cakes are just the right thing for a famished group before exploring Frankfurt...or for any cake lover...More

Small place but very cosy and just lovely. Perfect for cake & drinks with friends or family in this cold weather. Service was great! Staff were really nice

The 'la vie en rose' coffee looks strangly beautiful and tastes good. The quiche and the croissant were of the worst I've ever tasted: The croissant was very very dry and not at all buttery or airy. The quiche was overcooked and reheated and the...broccoli in it all brown and mushy. It caused stomachpain and it took ages to get rid of the nasty taste. Cozy little cafe with delicious cakes and drinks. I tried the the opera cake and the apricot cake and they were both light and tasty! staff are friendly and there's also a little chocolate shop to the side of the cafe but it was not...open when we visited on a Sunday.More

Lovely "tea and coffee salon" with delicious cakes. It has the atmosphere of a cafe from 70 years ago, and a visit there is a lovely break from sight seeing in Frankfurt. Usually my to go place for delicious and pretty cakes, but the chocolate and pralines they make are equally delicious...especially the chocolate fudge and the chocolate “cupcakes” (pralines) are just awesome.

The best coffee we had in a while! And we drink a lot of coffee. Came al the way from Eindhoven to this place and amazed by the great service too ❤️

We had a wonderful AppfelKuchen desert and Irish Coffee at this delightful café. one side is the restaurant the other side is a chocolate store, both sides are delicious! If you are in Frankfurt, I recommend you stop in, have coffee and a pastry. Then...head next door and purchase a few sweets to take back with you.More

The only one in Germany, very nice cafe with good hot chocolate and desserts, they have a chocolate store next door. I ordered the milk hot chocolate and carrot cake , it was delicious. However, my friend ordered the strong chocolate which was too strong...and thick for her. There are many types of condiments can add into the hot chocolate, flower flavored sugar, chilies powder, cinnamon.... should definitely visit!More
