Santa Ana High School Reviews
Rating 3.83 out of 5 400 reviews
Santa Ana High School is a school full of diversity and amazing teachers. Our school has so much diversity with so many cultures and religions. The teachers here are beneficial and always ready to help us, but this school has its problems. The food provided here is very hit or miss as many of the students here state that they don't like the food here. Another problem is the rampant amount of fights and the widespread use of vapes. Fights here have become more common and is unusual to see a student fighting while walking to class. Vapes have also been a problem as bathrooms now have become a haven for kids to ditch class and hang around. Even with all of these problems Santa Ana High School is still a great school.
Overall, Santa Ana High School is a truly wonderful and transformational experience for me. I felt a sense of belonging and inclusivity as soon as I set foot on the campus, which helped me feel at home. The committed and enthusiastic teachers encouraged me to pursue academic achievement, and the multicultural student body exposed me to a wide range of cultures and viewpoints. Through extracurricular activities, organizations, and sports, Santa Ana High School offered many possibilities for leadership development and personal growth in addition to academics. Because of the school's dedication to creating a friendly environment, I was able to make friends for life and learn valuable life skills. In sum, Santa Ana High School was a major factor in my development as a person, and I will always value my experiences.
Santa Ana High will give you several opportunities. Throughout my experiences, I believe that teachers here truly care for you as long as you put in your effort and seek the help you need. Senior year may become stressful when the time comes for college applications but I was able to see the significant amount of help you receive from the staff. It was truly significant for me as a first-generation student.
Besides that the school spirit here is low. But as long as you find the right people by joining sports or clubs you will have fun. My best memory was being part of sports. I met amazing people and accomplished many things. But based on my experiences you could see that many don't receive the recognition they deserve. Every sport and club represents our school in a way which is why they all need to be acknowledged.
Overall I would rate my experience in this school as a 7/10. It isn't a horrible or the absolute best but as long as you focus on your things you will do fine.
