Samuel W. Wolfson High School Reviews
Rating 3.37 out of 5 324 reviews
When I started high school at Wolfson it wasn't the best. Confidence and always feeling different than others was why I struggled in having an overall good time here, in addition to the overbearing work load and the "not the best" diversity the school has. I tried to transfer in 9th and 10th grade, which of course I was never focused on actually doing sports or activities at the school, just moving away. The end of my sophomore year is when I 100% knew there was not a chance of going to any other school. Yes, at first I was really mad about it but I knew it would be an opportunity to finally engage with other people and actually/officially stand on the fact that I have to make the best of staying at Wolfson. Joining Marching Band was a big decision and also in engaging with other activities. Now I've realized my Junior year that Wolfson is a pretty great school; some kind and respectful people, many fun activities/events, amazing school spirit, and much help + opportunities!
My school has a supportive and inclusive community. The teachers and staff are always there to help and provide guidance, creating a positive learning environment. Additionally, there are various extracurricular activities and clubs that allow students to explore their interests and develop new skills. The school also offers a diverse range of academic programs, providing students with opportunities to pursue their passions and excel in different areas.
While my school has many positive aspects, there are a few areas that could be improved. One of the challenges is the lack of resources and outdated facilities. Some classrooms are in need of renovation, and there is a limited availability of technology and modern learning tools. Additionally, the workload can sometimes be overwhelming, leading to stress among students.
Overall, my school has its strengths and weaknesses, but with some improvements, it has the potential to become an even better place for learning and growth.

It's a school that has fairly small classes. Everyone seems to know each other and grew up with each other. That part makes it a bit difficult to become friends with others considering people already have formed friend groups. A lot of the teachers are very nice and listen well to their students. Some do have favorites, but most are fair to everyone.
