Actor Samuel L. Jackson has appeared in several films directed by Quentin Tarantino, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him come back once more for the Pulp Fiction director's final film. Jackson has commented on his collaborations with Tarantino and why he loves to continue playing characters in the famous filmmaker's films.
"Well, Tarantino films are very different in that, yes, they are character-driven," Jackson explained, per AP Entertainment. "So when you read a Tarantino script, you all of a sudden find yourself knowing you're going to have a lot to say about who you are and how you feel about things rather than reading five pages of, 'Okay, drive fast, look this way, the car is going over a curb.'"

From directed masterpieces like Kill Bill to third-party classics such as True Romance, Quentin Tarantino-penned films are iconicJackson added, "So there are a lot of more things that you have to embody as a character and bring with you to do it. The fact that I spent years and years in theater helped me a lot to embrace what Quentin does. And he appreciates it in another way because he knows that I'm used to giving speeches, and I like it."
One of Jackson's most well-known roles is as Jules Winnfield in Tarantino's hit 1994 film Pulp Fiction. Jackson would go on to collaborate with Tarantino several more times, as he has roles in 1997's Jackie Brown, 2004's Kill Bill: Volume 2, 2012's Django Unchained, and 2015's The Hateful Eight. It remains to be seen if Jackson will appear in Tarantino's tenth and final movie, but it would certainly not be a big surprise.

In any case, Tarantino's final film will no longer be The Movie Critic. It was planned that Tarantino would start production on The Movie Critic later in 2024 with the movie serving as his last as director. Brad Pitt was attached to star, and it was recently reported that he'd be reprising his role as Cliff Booth from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Ultimately, Tarantino abandoned the project, seemingly feeling that it wasn't what he wanted to go out with as his final feature film.
Jackson has recently appeared on the big screen in films like The Marvels and Argylle. He will soon have a presence in theaters again with the release of the animated film The Garfield Movie, which hits theaters on May 24. In the film, Jackson provides the voice of Garfield's biological father, with Chris Pratt voicing the titular cat.
