Applications for Grades 0 and 1 in the Pre-Preparatory are open.
Applications for Grade 8 in 2025 in the College are now closed. Any new applications received will be added to our waiting list.
Applications for St John's Sixth Form AS and A Levels in 2025 are open.
Applications for all other Grades and Forms remain open and are subject to availability. These applications will be added to our waiting list, and the Admissions Office will contact you when a place becomes available.
All applications for admission to St John's College are made electronically via this page. Please take note of the process:
- Complete the electronic application form by clicking on the 'Apply Now' button
- Once you have completed and submitted the electronic application, you will receive an email confirming receipt thereof with a request to pay a non-refundable R500 application fee.
- Once payment is received, your application will be added to our waiting list.
- The Admissions Office will contact you when a place becomes available for your child in the Grade or Form requested to arrange an assessment and interview. You will also need to supply the following documentation to take the process further:
- Copy of birth certificate
- Copies of parent or guardian's identity document or passport
- Copy of latest school report (if applicable)
- Proof of study visa (if applicable)
If no place is available, your application will automatically roll over to the following year.
