Jude Law's exes Sienna Miller and Sadie Frost unite as cosy snaps of them together emerge

Jude Law's exes Sienna Miller and Sadie Frost have showed no sign of animosity after surprisingly pairing up together to film a new documentary about supermodel Twiggy.

Heartthrob Jude Law was married to Sadie Frost for six years before the pair called off their marriage in 2003, after which he had a widely publicised relationship with Sienna Miller. However, the two exes showed no signs of awkwardness when they united on the set of the Twiggy documentary, with the actor's former wife even sharing a selfie of the two of them afterwards.

In the new snap, Sadie, 57, was wearing one of her trademark leopard print suits, while Sienna, 41, was squeezed close to her - and both parties were grinning broadly.

In another photo, they sat together against the backdrop of a brick wall, looking like the best of friends, while Sienna's dachshund puppy perched on her lap to join in the fun.

Sadie described the situation as a "fun shoot" in aid of the documentary she is currently directing on the iconic 1960s supermodel Twiggy, when she took to Instagram to relive it later.

However, some fans couldn't resist poking fun at the unusual pairing, with one chuckling: "Jude should be sitting in between!"

However, there is a history of solidarity between the two women in the past.

Sienna and Jude first met while shooting the movie Alfie back in 2003 - the same year that he divorced Sadie - and scarcely a year later they were engaged.

However, there was trouble in paradise between Hollywood's hottest couple of the moment when, in 2005, Jude cheated with his children's nanny.

The actor came clean, revealing in a statement: "I want to publicly apologise to Sienna and our respective families for the pain that I have caused," adding that there was "no defence" for his actions.

Sienna, who was starring in the West End theatrical adaptation of Shakespeare's As You Like at the time, recalled that she felt profoundly "humiliated" - especially after the nanny, Daisy Wright, went public with their affair.

Sadie offered a perhaps unanticipated display of support for her ex-husband's new flame, saying she felt "really sorry" for her when she heard of the betrayal.

The pair previously had a minor bust-up over Sadie's children with Jude, when Sienna took step-daughter Iris to the hairdressers for a trim, the former tweeted: "I think ya should get ya own child and then cut their hair!"

However, in spite of any past strife, it was clear that the two had put the past behind them when they cosied up to each other in the latest snaps.

Sadie is currently believed to be single, while Sienna, who has long since moved on from her split from Jude, is dating actor Oli Green.

It was recently announced that he is expected to play Prince William's love rival in The Crown.
