Saddleback College Reviews
Rating 3.89 out of 5 1,298 reviews
By far my favorite part about Saddleback College is the athletics. At the beginning of my freshman year, I tried out and got recruited onto the women's basketball team. Though I personally would not rate my coaches a 5/5 experience, I cannot deny the amazing connections that I made with the other athletes and staff in the athletic department. I formed an amazing bond with my athletic trainers, made some lifelong friends through my team, and learned so much about what it is like to be a student athlete. Though I quit the team to refocus on my major and education, it is an experience that I will never forget, and I look forward to revisiting the athletics department when I come home for summer breaks.
My overall experience at Saddleback College has been incredibly enriching, the school offers a wide variety of opportunities for students looking to further their academic and professional careers. In joining with the Promise Program, I was able to benefit from state subsidies which paid my tuition for the two years of enrollment at Saddleback College. The guidance counselors I have spoken to have all been helpful and insightful in guiding and helping me navigate the several opportunities available to me through the school. Campus life is fairly active, there are a number of activities, student organizations and clubs all adding depth to the experience.
Saddleback has been a great school so far, the classes I have taken have really helped me learn and grow as a student. Although the student life is a bit difficult as it is a community college, the people in my classes have all been kind, and the professors are almost always willing to work with you!
