The royal wedding day - Mister Rogers' Neighborhood
The royal wedding day

Today is the day King Friday is going to marry Sara Saturday. Mr. Rogers leaves his shoes on in honor of this day. He has figurines of the king and Sara Saturday for the top of the cake. Miss Emilie arrives wearing purple gloves. She reads a poem about the wedding. Chef Brockett picks up the figurines and puts them on the wedding cake. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday wants to be married in the garden. Lady Aberlin tells him that everyone thought he would want to get married in the “W” room. The king tells her to move the decorations from the “W” room to the garden. The garden is hastily prepared for the wedding. Mr. Anybody comes to be the minister, but has trouble finding the castle because of the recent transformation. First Sara Saturday is crowned queen, then she and King Friday are married.
