Royal Military College Golf Club – Canberra’s Best Kept Secret
The Royal Military College Golf Club (RMCGC) welcomes everyone to the club to enjoy its relaxed atmosphere. The club is centrally located about five minutes to the airport and the city. The 9-hole course has different tees on the back 9).
Play golf and enjoy the best surroundings in Canberra. It is Canberra’s best kept secret and that means not too many people on the course.
The RMCGC course is within the beautiful heritage grounds of the college where the course dates back to 1919. A small number of military staff shaped out nine holes. It has maintained a strong affiliation (and reduced fees) with the members of Defence. The club officially opened in October 1962.
Royal Military College Golf Club Membership is open to the general public. A variety of packages is available. Members can access the course at no cost, unless they participate in a competition. Graded 9 and 18-hole competitions are available, or just enjoy a social game.
The venue is ideal for corporate and social events. There is a bar and indoor seating for 60-80. The outdoor area also has seating and a large BBQ. Please ring the Club for more details and bookings.
