About

Learn more about the brave men and women who protected London's skies during the last 100 years.
Explore the fascinating story of the RAF at Hendon, from biplanes and airshows to Spitfires and the Battle of Britain, and continuing into the Nuclear age.
The museum 's location was an important centre for aviation and avionics in the UK and now we continue to tell the stories of the men and women which made the RAF. Debate the future, test your flying skills, be amazed by stories of bravery, love and loss. Catch up with friends in the cafe and restaurant or take a leisurely browse in the shop. Families will love the themed outdoor play area.

Come and discover the stories of some of the most iconic RAF planes in our collections such as the Spitfire, Lancaster, Harrier or Vulcan. Or discover our unique international collection of aircraft from around the world.

Why not be shown around by our expert guides to get up close and personal with these iconic aircraft.
