A report from The Times suggests that actress Daisy May Cooper may be in the running to take on the role of M, which is the codename for the Chief of the Secret Intelligence Service for Bond’s agency, MI6. Past stars to take on the role of M include Judi Dench and Ralph Fiennes..

The unverified report says that talks are currently underway. If you don’t know, Daisy May is a BAFTA-nominated actress for her work in BBC1’s Am I Being Unreasonable?. She’s also known for her work in This Country (2017) and Avenue 5 (2020).

“Daisy is a proper [Royal Academy of Dramatic Art]-trained actress who everyone wants to work with,” the source told The Times. “She is funny, has bags of personality and is very hot at the minute.”
