I've had this album when it first dropped. Was very upset that itunes did not have this album . hence the reason why I bought the CD. If you are a hip-hoip fan, you'll like this album.
There's alot of great MC featurings but most of all every song will grab u with classic Hi-Tek beats. In my opinion this is Hi -Tek's best solo record!

Hi-Tek...not much can be said. He has produced beats for everyone from Talib and Mos to Snoop and the Eastsidaz. His beats are perfect for Talib but on this album they fit everyone well. He even tries his hand at some R&B with a track from Jonell "Round & Round" which is one of the better songs on this album. Hi-Tek delivers a mixture of his typical raw organic production and some more commercial styled beats. The first song, featuring Common, is a very dope cut as are the Cormega, Talib, and Mos tracks. This album is a good album, better than a lot of the crap out there but it really feels like a compilation more than one artists album. The beats are hot and most of the rappers are on point. It is also nice to see the boot camp click comin back, Tek brings buckshot back for "Illest It Gets". This is a good album but I think Tek should have saved these beats and made another Reflection Eternal album instead.
Hi-Teks debut was definitely one of the last real hip hop Classics to come out. The songs are "complex" - the beats have many layers and each song is like a different little journey.
True intelligent hip hop with beats and rhymes you have to listen to! I love this album as it explores headnodding hip hop to true soul, Check out the tunes: 'git to steppin' - hunting soul melody and 'all is need is you' - for lovers they are classics and WILL BE shelved on your faves list. More harder styles are played out featuring excellent artists - YOU GOTTA BUY IT! Well worth the money and you will play it round and round for hours!!!!!! If u adore albums by Talib Kwali, Mos Def, Rawkus etc....I promise you'll love this.
