Get ready for a second Rush!

It's vacation time for Carter as he finds himself alongside Lee in Hong Kong wishing for more excitement. While Carter wants to party and meet the ladies, Lee is out to track down a Triad gang lord who may be responsible for killing two men at the American Embassy. Things get complicated as the pair stumble onto a counterfeiting plot. The boys are soon up to their necks in fist fights and life-threatening situations. A trip back to the U.S. may provide the answers about the bombing, the counterfeiting, and the true allegiance of sexy customs agent Isabella.

the third act of this movie really rocked me as a kid. still holds up! there’s a shot where lee and carter say goodbye and out of focus we can see carter walk away without ever properly turning around before lee calls to him– it’s such a genuinely sweet moment i refuse to believe brett ratner could’ve done it on purpose. i’m no conspiracy theorist but there was a time where chris tucker was one of the biggest and best movie star in the world and we did not have the novel coronavirus

Chris Tucker is supposed to be a creep ‘cause we are laughing at his ignorance. Same thing with his racist gags (though we were almost definitely laughing with him in 2001.) It’s gross and bad when Jackie does it! Huge ick. Can’t wait to tell my mom I watched this. It’s a real mom classic. I don’t think I ever realized that was Don Cheadle! Anyways, it’s still Fuck Brett Ratner.

Masterpiece.
The first Rush Hour I ever saw over and over again as a kid. I rented the heck out of this movie. I watched it on cable, local channels, and random places like a clothing store, barbershop, or car wash where they had a TV with this movie on. I haven’t seen it in more than a decade, but I'm glad to hear it holds up so well.
Jackie and Chris’ chemistry is top-notch. The humor is better. Every scene in this film is memorable (the Hong Kong karaoke, bamboo hanging, spa, the boat, the sexy hotel room scene with stunning Roselyn Sanchez, the casino, etc.). The…
