Reverend Robert Wrottesley was born on 2 June 1801. He was the son of John Wrottesley, 1st Baron Wrottesley and Lady Caroline Bennet. He married Georgiana Pigot, daughter of General Sir George Pigot, 3rd Bt. and Mary Anne Monckton, in August 1828. He died on 20 January 1838 at age 36, without issue.
