BALIYAD won a similar race on his penultimate start and may be worth forgiving a modest effort at Uttoxeter 13 days ago. It's possible that more patient riding tactics will play to his strengths over this trip and, from 1lb above the mark of that Stratford success, this is well within his compass. Yaazaain was second over C&D last time and is rated as a threat, while first-time blinkers might rev up Right Destination.
Prediction : 1st Baliyad 2nd Yaazaain 3rd Right Destination

BEN LILLY, who was useful on the Flat, has adapted well to hurdling and looks the safest option. He has experience over C&D and might have too much in reserve for Present Storm, who is respected but tries this trip for the first time. Pottlerath tends to need at least a couple of runs after a break but still merits an interest in a race where stamina will be key.
Prediction : 1st Ben Lilly 2nd Present Storm 3rd Pottlerath

Given that Hang In There has shown a tendency to jump out to the left at his fences, this course might not bring the best out of him. Indeed, he was outgunned by one of Paul Nicholls' string on his chasing debut and he is represented by HELL RED. The five-year-old already has a chase win at this course to his name and his claims are made all the more compelling as he's getting better with each outing. Oborne Lady looks set for a supporting role.
Prediction : 1st Hell Red 2nd Hang In There 3rd Oborne Lady

Connections could have another classy recruit on their hands in the shape of ROBERT WALPOLE. A two-time winner on the level for Roger Varian this year, the five-year-old should be primed first time out over hurdles as he looks to see off the likes of Stratford bumper winner Sea The Clouds and Star Of Valour, who is another Flat recruit.
Prediction : 1st Robert Walpole 2nd Star Of Valour 3rd Sea The Clouds

LITTLE JESSTURE only ever seems to do just enough when she wins and the six-year-old mare has done just that on three of her last four starts at this track. A 3lb rise for her most recent victory over C&D looks manageable and she is preferred to the hat-trick seeking The Height Of Fame, who has won nicely the last twice at Fontwell. The consistent Maroochi and Sevenofus are likely to enter the reckoning as well.
Prediction : 1st Little Jessture 2nd The Height Of Fame 3rd Maroochi

FOR PLEASURE boasts a much stronger level of form than all of his rivals and the seven-year-old has been found an excellent opportunity to make a winning return to action. Noted for his free-going tendencies on the front end, he was dropped in on a couple of occasions at the back end of last season, which didn't appear to suit him, so it would be no surprise to see a change back to old tactics. Romanor is taken to get the better of Coal Stock in the battle for second.
Prediction : 1st For Pleasure 2nd Romanor 3rd Coal Stock

GAULOIS is unbeaten in three appearances at this track and the six-year-old is expected to continue his fine run of form back in handicap company. Getalead fell at Worcester on his sole outing this season in July, but the son of Getaway is capable of further progression based on his form last year. Cadeau D'Or and Caspers Court are others worthy of consideration.
Prediction : 1st Gaulois 2nd Getalead 3rd Cadeau DOr
