Robert Taylor, born as Spangler Arlington Brugh was an American film and television actor and singer.He was born on August 5, 1911, in Filley, Nebraska, USA. He was the only child of his parents.
Robert Taylor married Barbara Stanwyck in 1939, and they divorced in 1952. Robert married Ursula Thiess in 1954 and they had three children together.
Robert Taylor died of lung cancer on June 8, 1969, at age 57.
Robert Taylor made appearances in Broadway plays before signing a seven-year contract with MGM. He made his first film debut in the 1934 Comedy,” Handy Andy”. Robert had several leading roles in films such as “Magnificent Obsession, Crime Does Not Pay, Conspirator, Knights Of The Round Table, and many others.
