Robert Cromwell Obituary

Robert "Bob" Lee Cromwell, 76, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away due to pancreatic cancer at his home on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

He was born on Feb. 25, 1946, in Harrisburg Arkansas to the late Orbin and Montie (Hopper) Cromwell.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Raymond and Kenneth and one sister, Billie Jean Daffron.

Robert leaves behind his loving wife of thirty-five years, Patricia (Blackford) Cromwell; his children, Julia Loomis, Jacqueline Curless, James Cromwell and Jeffrey Cromwell; stepsons, Mark McAnally, Charlie McAnally, Steve McAnally, and James "Jimmy" McAnally. Robert was a grandfather to eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

He enjoyed traveling on his motorcycle, working in the woods and being an electrician for Chrysler. He retired after thirty-five years in 2001. In his retirement he enjoyed woodworking in his shop, traveling, hiking, volunteering for the Audubon Society, camping, driving his side by side at Cloud Nine and fixing anything that needed fixing. Robert loved his tools almost as much as he loved his family. He would strike up a conversation with anyone anywhere and he had the gift of gab. His humor was like no other. He was upfront, honest, unfiltered, caring and generous. He will be missed by the many lives he touched.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, at Conner Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Conner Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center with the Rev. Bill Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Conley Cemetery.
