CHICAGO — Former Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley is hospitalized at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, undergoing tests.
Daley was admitted to the hospital Wednesday. WGN News has learned that the former mayor wasn’t feeling well and family encouraged him to go to the hospital to get checked out.
Those who have spoken to him say he is alert and in good spirits. He is expected to remain in the hospital until test results come back.
Daily turned 80 in April.
