Kerissa served us during our wine tasting and was a lot of fun! While she was new to providing wine tastings, she made the experience enjoyable with her friendly and bubbly personality. We also learned about the owner Klaus, a 13th generation wine maker who is German and doesn't appreciate dad jokes. Overall, we had a great time at the winery and would recommend it.

We consider ourselves to be wine snobs. Wines from Canada are not typically our favorite wines to drink. But tasting wine is more than just drinking. It is the interaction with those around you and the host/hostess. That is where Reif gets 5-stars. Our hostess Guillia was exceptional. When someone like her is serving you wine, you want to buy the wine. We bought several bottles of the Vinea -- very similar to Port. Although Reif was busy with a large crowd that day, Guillia took time to give us a great tasting experience.

My husband and I went for a wine tasting at Reif and Kerissa was so personable and attentive. She was funny and helped me decide on wines with my favorite being the Dornfelder. We will definitely come back the next time we visit NOTL and hope to see Kerissa again!

We enjoyed our stop here, and Kerissa made the experience fun and engaging! We liked Reif’s vidal ice wine the best among the several others we’ve tried in the region. The atmosphere was lovely and inviting.

We came here as part of a wine tour and our experience was FANTASTIC!!!! All of the wines that we tasted were great, but the highlight of our experience was our tour guide, Meghan. She went above and beyond with making us feel welcomed, teaching us so much about the wine making process and recommending great wines for us to try out. It was so interesting to see the behind-the-scenes of how the wines are made. We will definitely be back again :)

We visited Reif Estate on the spur of the moment and honestly while we have enjoyed their wines many times over the years we were not expecting to be blown away but we were - both by the wines and our amazing host George. He created an experience for us that was fun, educational and most importantly Memorable! Highly recommended!

Visited reif estate winery July 4 2023 and loved it. We had previously visited a couple of other wineries which were very good but Reif is our new favorite. The grounds are beautiful and Megan provided the best tour ever. The wines are great, especially the icewine.

This winery was a great winery. The bar tender Ana was very informative. She explained to us about ice wine. It was very interesting to learn how the pick during the night and then process the grapes into wine soon after they were picked. Also she explained how many more grapes it takes to make ice wine.

We had Herb Gerlach present the wines for tasting and he was extremely knowledgeable as well as passionate about the wine. We got a great history lesson on grapes in Niagara and recommend him highly. Rief winery has some excellent wines and as they are a smaller winery, we have not really been familiar with them prior to our visit.

My husband and I recently went on a wonderful cycling tour with Tour de Vine. Part of our tour was a stop at this winery and we were given a behind the scenes look at how wine is made! Amaya was our outstanding tour guide. Her knowledge and ability to answer questions was exceptional! She knows her stuff well, and she made our visit! We would certainly recommend asking for Amaya if you have the opportunity to visit this Winery.
