Q: What are the entry requirements for Ravens Wood Sixth Form?2023-11-02T16:58:45+00:00

A: To study A Level qualifications, students require a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 or above, including Grade 4 or above in Mathematics and Grade 4 or above in English Language and/or Literature. A minimum of a Grade 5 is required at GCSE in the subject students propose to study at A Level.

To study BTEC Vocational qualifications, students require 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including Grade 4 or above in Mathematics and English Language and/or Literature.

A: Students will be asked to select 3 subjects to study at Ravens Wood, with those who achieve highly at GCSE offered a 4th subject; All courses run as linear, two year A Levels.

A: At Ravens Wood School, our students’ Personal Development is an integral part of our curriculum. Staff and students work together, to create a School with a culture of ‘Keeping Safe in the Sixth Form’ and safeguarding. Q: How does Ravens Wood prepare all students for Sixth Form study?2023-11-02T16:55:04+00:00

A: All students complete our three-stage Induction Programme which takes place from June to August. This is designed to immerse students in the subjects they have chosen, prior to meeting our teachers in the Autumn term.
