He revealed the happy news in an interview with ET Canada when talking about the ups and downs of parenthood: When a reporter mentioned his six kids, he replied, "Seven, actually. I just had a baby."
A handful of details have come in about the newest addition to the De Niro brood, who is more than 50 years younger than her oldest sibling.

Robert De Niro has seven children: Daughters Drena, 56, and Helen Grace, 12, and sons Raphael, 47, twins Julian and Aaron, 28, and Elliot, 26.
He revealed to Gayle King on CBS Mornings that his seventh child, a daughter named Gia Virginia Chen De Niro, was born on April 6, 2023.
De Niro has previously said that he's not against raising nepo babies, but only if they really do want to go into acting for the sake of it.
“For my kids, I tell them, ‘If you want to be an actor or you want to do this or that, that’s fine as long as you’re happy. Just don’t sell yourself short,’" he told People in January 2020. "That’s the most I would say: 'Push yourself a little more and reach for what you really think it is you want to do. Don’t be afraid.' It’s important for them to find their own lane.”
