Life and Career[]
Randall Newsome is an American actor and a director. Newsome has worked in various television shows. His first role was in Boy meets world. While working as an assistant director on a film, Newsome was advised by Walter Matthau to pursue acting. He later received a full scholarship and M.F.A. from the Actor's Training Program at the AL Shakespeare Festival. A member of The Director's Guild of America, he as worked with the Coen brothers, Michael Apted, Frank Darabont, and John Hughes. Newsome has performed roles on Broadway with Christopher Plummer, Brian Dennehy, and Gabriel Byrne; and for the Tony Award-Winning Director, Doug Hughes. Newsome landed a minor role in the CW series Star-Crossed.
