        History

Queen Elizabeth High School was a Halifax peninsula high school from 1942-2007. The student bodies of the Halifax Academy (Sackville and Brunswick) and the Bloomfield High School (Robie and Almon) combined in the new high school at Robie and Bell Rd. Several extensions were added to the building over the years, until 2007 when QEHS combined with neighbouring St. Pat's High School to become Citadel High School in a new building on the former Nova Scotia Community College site at Bell, Trollope and Ahern.
