This is the second part of the story which began with “Mercenaries of the Rio Grande”. I said pretty much all I have to say about those two movies in that review.
This is really a two-part story and I would strongly advise against watching this one first. But like I said before, when it comes to Karl May adaptations, Mercenaries of the Rio Grande & Pyramid of the Sun God are among my absolute favorites. Strong recommendation for all fans of light entertainment, German Pulp Adventures and those who like to spent their lazy afternoons in colorful Karl May land.
