Timothy D It's deluded by standard Hollywood direction, but the story behind Puncture and Evans giving everything he has to bring it to life make this a satisfying watch. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/22/23 Full Review Petty68 This was such a well told story about something I knew very little about. I remember when these needles started being used, but I didn't know the story behind how hard it was to get them to the nurses who needed them the most. It's terribly sad when money is a top priority over the lives that save us. I truly enjoyed this movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/09/23 Full Review shri d Almost stuck the landing! but didn't. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/14/23 Full Review C R E I was ok.. not bad. Although it was admirable that the lawyer, Mike Weiss, was fighting for a good cause; his character of a drug addict, irresponsible at work, spent what little money on drugs & other things, which could've been used on legal fees... and he cheated on his wife. Killed it for me... for the most part. Just didn't want to see that. His partner could've been more supportive too, but I'm glad eventually, the case was fought for. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/10/22 Full Review jelisije j A very good movie that is actually based on a true story and Chis Evan gives his best performance of his entire career. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Moira MacDonald Seattle Times "Puncture" has the unusual problem of being almost too intriguing; its based-on-true-events story seems to cry out for documentary treatment. Rated: 3/4 Nov 3, 2011 Full Review Ethan Gilsdorf Boston Globe "Puncture'' is based on an actual court case. But is this a story best served by focusing on the legal battle or the arc of Mike's flawed hero? Rated: 2/4 Oct 24, 2011 Full Review Michael O'Sullivan Washington Post Evans works so hard to look like a drug addict that it undermines the character's effort not to look like one. Rated: 1.5/4 Oct 21, 2011 Full Review Will Leitch Deadspin Based on the true story of Michael D. Weiss, which is convenient, since Weiss was considerate enough to live his life in a way that he surrounded himself with every possible cliche and hackneyed, obvious development imaginable. Rated: D+ Jun 22, 2013 Full Review Billy Tatum We Got This Covered With summer movies safely tucked away, it's the time of year where Oscar films pop up, and this week's Puncture may be a contender. Rated: 8/10 Feb 11, 2013 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...a sporadically watchable yet wholly uninvolving endeavor that probably does a disservice to the movie's real-life inspiration.
