Providence Day School Reviews
Cons: More diverse students apply then who are accepted into the school, racial incidents occur regularly to black students with no repercussion for faculty/children who inflict this, would like to see children of color more valued besides the importance of hitting a quota to maintain a high diversity score on school rating websites. Would like for parents to join together to demand higher standards from the board and head of school for how black children are treated by other children and faculty. One off incidents get discussed with a select few to ensure no attention/awareness is brought to the broader school. Looking at reviews below, this continues to be an issue the last few years.
Overall: Good school, but shouldn’t have to settle for great academics at the expense of racial incidents occurring periodically to black children and children of color.
