Ludwig Heinrich Prince of Bavaria (born June 14, 1982 in Landsberg am Lech ) is a German IT entrepreneur, development worker and the eldest son of Luitpold Prince of Bavaria and great-great-grandson of Ludwig III. , the last king of the Kingdom of Bavaria . In the line of succession to the Wittelsbach family , he is in third place after Max Emanuel Herzog in Bavaria and his father.
Life
Ludwig Prince of Bavaria grew up at Kaltenberg Castle and was sent to a Benedictine monastery in London as a child . [1] He spent the longest part of his school days in the Rhabanus-Maurus-Gymnasium of the Archabbey of Sankt Ottilien . At the age of 16 he founded a software company, he programmed websites and was quite successful with it. [1] Then he organized “After- Wiesn- Parties” where he served the guests as a bartender. [1]
Ludwig Prince of Bavaria later studied law . He was then brought to Nymphenburg Palace by Franz von Bayern , the current head of the Wittelsbach family, in order to be prepared there for the future representative duties as head of this house. This familiarization took a few years, after which he decided to go to Africa, where he founded the software company Startup Lions in Lokitaung , a settlement in Turkana County in northern Kenya . [2] Goal of this startup companyis to train and educate young people. According to his own statements, he spends around ten months a year in Africa, the remaining two months he travels to Bavaria for representative tasks . Furthermore, Ludwig Prince of Bavaria is the first chairman of the Nymphenburg Relief Society , [3] which is committed to social projects for children, especially in Eastern Europe and East Africa .
