King warned Coronation plan for Archie and Lilibet is a 'huge mistake'

Buckingham Palace has invited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to the Coronation of King Charles but has reportedly excluded Prince Archie Harrison and Princess Lilibet Diana from its plans.

King Charles III coronation details revealed by Palace

King Charles has been warned excluding Prince Archie Harrison and Princess Lilibet Diana from the Coronation weekend in May will be a "huge mistake". Australian journalist Daniela Elser commented on the report the children of the Sussexes are not being included in the Coronation plans, likely due to their young age and their parents' non-working status within the Firm. Failing to show a willingness to include all his grandchildren at such a historic time, however, could reflect badly on the monarch, Ms Elser said. In a comment piece, she wrote: "The King has left his grandchildren Prince Archie and Princess Lili out of his coronation plans. And that is a huge mistake.

"Reports have suggested that the selection of guests who will fill the Abbey’s pews will be a representative cross-section of a multicultural 21st century Britain. Leaving Archie and Lili out of the whole three-day event makes something of a mockery of all that enthusiastic drum-banging about just how smashing this inclusiveness business is. How can the King bring a politically, culturally and socially fractured Britain together if he doesn’t even have it in him to bring all of his grandchildren together?" The commentator added that Lilibet and Archie are "completely innocent" when it comes to the feud between the Firm and their parents. In her piece for News.com.au, the commentator also wrote that, while it is true that it's not even yet known whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will attend the Coronation, showing their children are welcomed during the celebrations "would tip the scales". She added: "By leaving them both out of coronation plans, His Majesty is all but ensuring that the current rift between London and Montecito will only become more deeply entrenched – and that it will last for generations."

Prince Harry at risk of Coronation 'animosity' from wider royal circle, expert warns

Prince Harry could be left facing considerable amounts of "animosity" from a wider portion of the Royal Family if he returns for the Coronation, expert Jack Royston suggested.

Mr Royston argued Harry's claims in his book Spare could result in cold shoulders from more relatives than just the ones he levelled criticism against.

Meghan makes caesar salad with 'amazing flavour' - but grills an 'unusual' ingredient

Before meeting Prince Harry, ran a lifestyle blog called The Tig where she shared helpful and commented on fashion and travelling.

One such recipe was a grilled shrimp caesar salad which Meghan makes on the grill, including the romaine lettuce.

In 2016, the Duchess of Sussex went on The Today Show on NBC to demonstrate how to make the grilled salad, which she called "really simple".

The then-host of The Today Show, Matt Lauer, introduced the Duchess by saying: "We're making something unusual here, people don't think of this. We're talking about salad on the grill!"

Prince Harry and Meghan warned of dire UK popularity ratings as Britons have 'had enough'

Harry and Meghan have been warned of their dire popularity ratings as Britons have "had enough" of the royal couple.

Former ITN royal editor Tim Ewart told Sky News Australia that Harry and Meghan's popularity has plummeted in the wake of the couple's Netflix series and the Duke's memoir, Spare.

Asked if Harry and Meghan's behaviour was making things difficult for them, Mr Ewart said: "Quite clearly the Sussexes are becoming extremely unpopular in this country.

"Now it would be unfair to say that that is an opinion held by everybody. Younger people in Britain like the Sussexes, [they] like the diversity that they bring to the Royal Family, the modern lifestyle that they lead, who respect the way that Harry has been so keen to tell his story, to bear his soul.

"But the vast majority of people have had enough of it."

Prince Harry and Meghan's Archewell's partner takes aim at 'boys will be boys' saying

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's organisation, Archewell, has partnered with a group that is tackling the mainstream definition of masculinity.

The group, Equimundo's Global Boyhood Initiative, aims at changing "boyhood for the better" by guiding children to share their emotions in healthy ways, accept and connect with others, stand up and speak up against equality and break free from stereotypes.

The organisation aims at tearing down the old saying "boys will be boys" as it sees it as dangerous, and has spoken in a report of how contemporary thinking about gender "suggests that boyhood is not fixed, unitary and stable" but rather, there are multiple, plural, fluid and changing" boyhoods.

William and Kate 'shocked' at scale of royal rage in Caribbean as couple changes tack

Speaking of their work, she told Express.co.uk: “I think what we see with William and Kate is offering to serve and be much more humble in their approach. And, of course, they need that to get through this period of transition from the Queen to Charles — who is known to be quite a privileged individual.

“The whole focus on diversity and woke issues are making the topic of white privilege really quite an uncomfortable one, so the royals have to deal with that as well. And we see Kate and William much more willing to show this other side of service and were taking commands from the public, rather than commanding the public. I think that’s how they dealt with the Caribbean trip that was deemed a bit of a PR disaster.”

Speaking of the tour Kate and William undertook to the Caribbean in March last year, she added: “I think William was very shocked at the mistakes made and the reactions; he then realised that he had to take more control of how things were managed. And again putting the emphasis on service: ‘We’re not going to try to be the head of any state that doesn’t want us, but tell us if we can be of service to you,’ is the approach I understand he took as the outcome of the tour.”

Prince William told to consider sending George to state school in Eton snub by Labour MP

The Prince of Wales has been urged to consider sending his eldest son and future King to a state school.

Clive Lewis, the Labour MP for Norwich, made the argument for Prince George not to follow Prince William's footsteps when it comes to his future education.

While he said the decision about the education the nine-year-old will receive is a "matter for his parents" to decide, he told the Mail on Sunday: "There's an argument to be made for him to go to a state school."

Mr Lewis, whose party is currently ahead in the polls to win the next general election, added: "He is a future King and I would suggest that at a state school he would rub shoulders with a much broader cross-section of his future subjects than he would at Eton."
