School District 57’s board of trustees is entering budget season.
The district is projected to receive $199 million in revenue in 2024/25, the hefty majority of which is coming from the provincial government.
Like last year, the board is facing a shortfall of around $2 million and is considering cuts.
The board is looking for feedback on where cuts should be made through a variety of ways, including:
- A Survey on the district website – open from April 18 to May 3, 2024
- Livestream meeting – April 23, 2024 – 7:00 pm
(A recording of the meeting will be posted on the school district’s website) - Email: [email protected]
- Mail: 2100 Ferry Ave, Prince George, BC V2L 4R5
