Audience Member It's a redundant movie. You can imagine what would happen since the beginning, it doesn't exist any surprise in the story. The drama tries to be deep and philosophical. The beauty exists in Berlin sights. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Good performances from the actors, especially Lambert Wilson as the agent. Great choices of locations and sets and super cinematography; every scene looks crisp clean and colorful, befitting a film about art. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member A total delight. An old fashioned, feel good evening at the movies. Beautiful autumn in Berlin setting. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Posthumous is a surprisingly captivating screwball comedy about the internal struggle between self expression and comfort. The writing direction and performances are fresh and captivating. This movie reminded of why I'm an artist and that the sacrifices I've made to be one have been well worth it. I highly recommend it. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Charming rom-com in an underexplored location (Berlin). Funny in all the right places. 5-star poignancy rating. Plenty of irritants in the secondary players. Subtle life lesson to go for what's true to you, not to others. Music choices were INSPIRED! Editing is superb. Acting is first-rate. Story is delightful. 100+ minutes well spent. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Jack Huston + Alexander Fehling + Tom Schilling in an English-speaking rom-com chick flick. Guy Lodge Variety Berlin gets an overdue romantic showcase in Lulu Wang's bright art-scene farce, starring Brit Marling and Jack Huston. Mar 31, 2015 Full Review Jason Ooi The Playlist It would be preferable that her vision ... be more interested in the untapped complex insights which stem from her fascinating premise rather than focused on providing straightforward pleasures. Rated: C+ Aug 18, 2016 Full Review Emine Yildirim Today's Zaman (Turkey) Posthumous is a precious little gem of a movie, with lustrous cinematography that fully expresses the psyche of an urban landscape and its inhabitants. Feb 29, 2016 Full Review Sarah Kurchak Consequence It's an imperfect union, but Posthumous still manages to charm more often than it disappoints. And it firmly establishes Lulu Wang as an artist who won't have to wait until after her death to be appreciated in her field. Rated: B- Jul 8, 2015 Full Review Read all reviews
