Pickerington High School North Reviews
Rating 3.9 out of 5 407 reviews
My experience was great our principal deeply cared for our well-being and made sure we always were in a positive learning environment. We also implemented "Service days" which we used to help the community in different ways and learn more about one another. The teachers are also amazing, I learned so much especially from our Biomedical Science program. The only change I would make is to have more immersive learning days.
Pickerington North high school is great in its academic factors like college readiness and their college classes mirror what the college expectations are. Their variety of classes also excel in academic achievement except for any class that is below honors or AP. The “normal/regular” classes are not entirely taken seriously 40% of the time. There is also not enough discipline within the hallways, cafeteria, and classrooms. Some students can believe that they can pass without doing the work.
One of my best experiences with this school has been the musical arts programs. I have participated in multiple of their large ensembles, such as their concert bands, choir, percussion ensemble, steel band, and jazz band. These have all been great programs, each providing a great experience moving into musical college. If I had to choose something that has been my worst experience, I would have to say the administration. They definitely try their best to make the environment as safe and secure as possible, but that has interfered with students that have not been doing anything to make the environment unsafe. Such as; stopping students a few feet away from their door and relocating them to get a tardy pass because the bell rang. Overall my experience with Pickerington North High School has been positive and will help me to succeed in the future.
