Penns Grove High School Reviews
Rating 3.5 out of 5 30 reviews
This high school doesn’t really have a good reputation. It’s mostly because of the kids there; they can be rude, start fights, and create problems. There’s also a specific teacher there (even with many reports on her, I don’t know why she’s there) that is very rude and gives me the worst experience. Most of the teachers though are very kind and make amazing friends. In my experience, I love everything, my group of friends, my extracurricular activities. Not everybody can agree with me, but this high school feels like home, it’s because of there I lived my best experiences. For me, I’m proud to say I’m from Penns Grove High.
The school is okay but it has its moments. The only person who tries to prepare students for college is one guidance counselor compared to the handful we have. The administration focuses more on us wearing our hats and hoods than preparing us for life after high school. I can't wait to graduate and experience a better education experience, this school is nice but has too much revolving around it and it's students to where it's draining.
My experience with the teachers that I have/had were good but mainly because I’m in higher courses. However, we’re lacking in teachers, especially science and math.
