Detailed Reviews
Due to the current world COVID 19 situation we were not able to travel in June to revisit our favourite holiday destination, Canada and in particular, Patricia Lake Bungalows in Jasper.
This year we were going to be bringing with us our son, his wife and three teenage children and booked and paid deposit for our accommodations. When COVID struck and borders were closed we had to unfortunately cancel all our plans. We did not expect to see our deposits returned to us, however PLB responded by saying that they would refund us our deposit. In the nicest way asked us "because they were a family run business" could we wait until July to receive the refund. We said yes, still not expecting the refund.
On the 1st July PLB did just what they said they would do, refunded us the FULL deposit, without taking any administrative fees, which we expected could happen.
This action by the management of PLB, to us, demonstrated what an excellent and ethical company they are.
We have stayed several times at PLB, in different types of accommodation, and have always loved the resort, the lake and the service provided. We are saddened that we couldn't visit this year, but rest assured we will be back.

We (family of 4, children aged 14 & 12) stayed here for 5 nights in the Duplex 2 bedroom. The accommodation was just right for us. Clean with kitchen and dining area plus your own outdoor tables and chairs. The Resort is fabulous, located next to Patricia lake and overlooked by Pyramid Mountain it has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The lake is nice to swim in to cool down and you can hire canoes & kayaks much cheaper compared to everywhere else we went. Our daughters also loved the hot tub.
It was great after busy days hiking or doing activities to get back there cool down with a swim in the lake, have a BBQ (BBQ areas were clean with very good quality gas BBQ's), sit in the hot tub or just relax.
Its only a few minutes drive to Jasper and unlike Banff it was really easy to find parking close to the centre of town so we didn't find being outside Jasper town a problem for buying food etc.
The staff were always really helpful and friendly. We had a lovely stay and I would definitely recommend staying at Patricia Lake Bungalows.

We stayed for 4 nights in June and will definitely be returning. its a perfect summer getaway in the Rockies. The cabins are lovely and well equipped, the grounds are well managed and there's a lovely atmosphere of quiet friendliness. We spent our time swimming and siting by the lake and going for walks nearby, and in the evenings we used the BBQ which was perfectly maintained and in a good sheltered area (needed on one night of rain). There was a small drain issue on our 3rd day which was sorted immediately. Management and staff couldn't have been better. Thanks for a great holiday and we look forward to returning.

Patricia Lake Bungalows Resort is located on the eastern shore of gorgeous Patricia Lake. Ranging from small, older units to large new multi-level cabins, this family owned property is well-run and clean; offers twice daily service, a playground for kids; a hot tub; and laundry. Our new cabin served our two couples well with split level bedrooms, living room with fireplace, and an outside dining area with a designated grill. Peaceful, beautiful, and great value for the money.

What a fabulous gem! We got a last minute reservation at Patricia Lake after a horrible drive to Jasper and a terrible night at a different Jasper hotel. When we called hoping to get a room the lady at reception was incredibly pleasant and helpful. She was able to not only get us a room, but it was an incredible lakeview cottage. It was clean, and quaint and fully equiped with everything we would need. A gas fireplace, full kitchen and seperate bedroom made it the perfect escape for us. Having my morning cup of tea on their dock over looking the breathtaking view was just what I needed. I only wish we had more time to experience some canoeing and biking in the area. We will be back when we have more time to experience everything this lovely resort has to offer.

Beautiful place to stay. There are a variety of cottages and cabins to stay in. They cleaned our cabin daily and came by again in the evening to offer additional, tea, coffee, towels etc for our room. The location is right on Patricia Lake with a dock for swimming or your can rent their kayaks. There also is a hot tub and fire it areas and some grills that can be used. This was a good location for families or couples who wanted a great location while having some privacy and space from the hustle of downtown. On our last day we saw a family of moose walk by our front door. We would absolutlely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Patricia Lake. We stayed in a little cottage which was very lovely and perfect for us (2 adults and child). The cottage was really well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was cleaned each day and in the evening the staff would check if we needed anything like extra towels, blankets, coffee etc. the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The setting is most beautiful with Patricia Lake for swimming and canoeing. It was idyllic! And we saw Elk all around. It is a great location for exploring all around Jasper and we did some lovely walks nearby. We definitely plan on returning some time when we travel to Canada from the UK again.

Hotel prices in Jasper have gone up a lot since our previous visit in 2016, so we chose to return to the Patricia Lake bungalows and stay again in the Cavell Suite despite availability of other newer choices.
We were very glad to find that this nice lodge which is far enough from the town center to be away from train noise maintains the same level of quality and service after the past a few years.
Cavell suites are among some of the newer additions to the lodge with updated facilities and tastful decor yet reasonably priced. The separated sitting area with fireplace is practical and feels very homey.

This was our second stay at Patricia Lake Bungalows, staying in a Cavell room and it was even better than last time. Last time some of the covid restrictions were still in place. The beds were comfortable and the basics were available in the room for snacks, light meals (microwave). Anything extra we asked for was provided with a friendly smile. The lake itself, the dock and the grounds were lovely and had a feeling of home. We will definitely return next year!

I felt like I lucked out with this hotel.
I stayed at one of the Cavell suites, with two queen beds a small kitchen and a nice bathroom.
The room was nice, clean and comfortable.
The resort is situated outside of jasper, up the mountain on Lake Patricia (as the name suggests). It provides for private access to the lake with an amazing view and clear (though cold) water that takes a bit getting used to but make for fun moments.
Was sad that due to covid the water crafts where not available.
One small comment-i would suggest the resort provides mosquito deterrent devices as that was a bit of an issue.
Would comeback in a heartbeat!

fabulous place for a family. They have lots of different types of accommodation so email them with your requirements, no.s of bedrooms, facilities needed etc and they will suggest which of the units would be best for your family size and make-up. Their choice for our family was absolutely perfect.
Yes they have laundry facilities very close, but not in the rooms. They also provide soap and so on.
"Kitchenette option allows you to do meals at your convenience. Oh, and horseback riding stable nearby."Read full review
