This has to be the most idealic location we could have chosen for our stay in Jasper. It was everything we hoped it would be,in a beautifully quiet, peaceful lakeside site with great views and accomodation. From check in to out it was a absolute pleasure to have stayed on this Family Owned site which, for us rekindled memories of holidays years ago where from the moment you arrived you would feel at ease & home,Our suite was spotlessly clean with a lovely Verandah to relax on if you so wished. With On site Hot tub, lakeside jetty for Swimming & Canoe(hire charge applicable)access, Barbecues on a first come basis to use,& play area for children. The grounds were immaculate, with floral displays and not a bit of mess to be seen anywhere. The two members of Staff we encountered were welcoming, polite & friendly and passed on all the necessary information required.
What more do you need ?

This has been our choice for spring/summer/fall accommodation i Jasper for the last 10 years. It never disappoints. When the park opened up June 1 after the Covid shutdown, we booked a 4 night stay here and were the first ones in the cabin. The resort had strict Covid cleaning protocols and virtual check-in and no staff entered the cabine after we checked in.
Everything in our well equipped cabin was sterilized and the furniture and bed was comfortable. The entire resort is quiet. But the best part is the beautiful lake. Will stay here again.

We just returned from a 4 night stay and we can't wait to return. We are traveling with 3 young children now and what we look for in accommodations is everything that PLB offers. Seclusion, peace and quiet, scenery, a playground, not a lot of people and the lake..I could go on. We also splurged on the deluxe king suite which is on an upper level of a cabin towards the back of the property. It was great overall. Lots of space and comfort with a kitchen. We had our own BBQ and an upper deck facing pyramid mountain.

There are other reviews here complaining about internet and being too far from town. We had no issues with the internet because we took a much needed break from it and unplugged. Anytime we needed it, we could access what we were looking for. We noticed food delivery vehicles coming and going so you are not out of luck if you want to order and have delivery. For us, we like cooking and using our BBQ so no big deal there. It's a nice distance from the townsite. We found Jasper much too busy and crowded when we went in anyways and actually liked being away from it all.

The only thing I wish they had was a security station or a monitoring system on the road preventing non guests from driving around or parking and going to use the lake. The area should only be for guests and if anyone has a visitor, then some kind of pass system should be implemented. We witnessed a lot of that from our upper deck in the evenings, having a great view of the road and watching people coming in and leave again and again. It made for unnecessary traffic.

Regardless, a great place to stay!

We stayed at Patricia Lake for 3 nights in early August 2020, in one of the ‘Grove suite’ rooms. It was amazing. The suite was spotless, and in great condition. It had a private bbq for our use (nice to have in the time of Covid), full gas stove top, microwave, fridge, toaster etc. We ate most of our meals here as the peaceful setting and view were fabulous. It was very quiet, mostly families. We loved jumping in the lake in the afternoon of hot days! Given what we paid for two nights in town we felt this was very worth the money. Will look forward to a return in future years.

Before I get into my review, you should know that my family and I are the type of people to relax and enjoy some down time from our long cross Canada drive. We don't like super busy crowds in big cities but we do enjoy relaxing picturesque nature locations. Those are the reasons why we chose to stay at Patricia Lake Bungalows.

Patricia Lake Bungalows is situated a few minutes north of the town of Jasper. The cabins at Patricia Lake Bungalows look well kept as does the grounds. When you arrive, you will want to stop at the main office to check in. Once you have your key and site map, you can drive on the narrow path at a leisurely speed to your cabin.

My family and I were fortunate to get cabin #5. Whats so special about cabin #5 you ask? Well in my opinion it's one of a few cabins closest to the beautiful Patricia Lake. There was one parking spot for our vehicle. The parking spot was able to accommodate a Buick Enclave which should give you a sense of just how big the parking spot can accommodate.

My wife and I absolutely loved our cabin! We felt it was the perfect size for a family of 4 (2 adults/2 kids under 10). When you walk into the cabin, you notice a bedroom to the left that is seperated by 3 large wooden sliding doors. This gives the occupents of the room some privacy from the main area of the cabin. To your right, you see another bed which sleeps 2 adults comfortable. As you can tell, the kids got the private room and the adults sleep in the main area :)

The kitchen area had a stove, fridge, sink, microwave, and single cup coffee machine. The pre-packaged bags of coffee grinds contain a filter so there is no need to use a separate coffee filter for the machine.

The staff was friendly. The other visitors were friendly. It was such a nice relaxing and enjoyable time at Patricia Lake Bungalows. My wife and I were sad to have only stayed 1 night. If we ever drive out to Jasper from Ontario again, we will make sure to spend a few nights at this wonderful, quiet and truly beautiful place north of Jasper.

Due to the current world COVID 19 situation we were not able to travel in June to revisit our favourite holiday destination, Canada and in particular, Patricia Lake Bungalows in Jasper.
This year we were going to be bringing with us our son, his wife and three teenage children and booked and paid deposit for our accommodations. When COVID struck and borders were closed we had to unfortunately cancel all our plans. We did not expect to see our deposits returned to us, however PLB responded by saying that they would refund us our deposit. In the nicest way asked us "because they were a family run business" could we wait until July to receive the refund. We said yes, still not expecting the refund.
On the 1st July PLB did just what they said they would do, refunded us the FULL deposit, without taking any administrative fees, which we expected could happen.
This action by the management of PLB, to us, demonstrated what an excellent and ethical company they are.
We have stayed several times at PLB, in different types of accommodation, and have always loved the resort, the lake and the service provided. We are saddened that we couldn't visit this year, but rest assured we will be back.

We (family of 4, children aged 14 & 12) stayed here for 5 nights in the Duplex 2 bedroom. The accommodation was just right for us. Clean with kitchen and dining area plus your own outdoor tables and chairs. The Resort is fabulous, located next to Patricia lake and overlooked by Pyramid Mountain it has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The lake is nice to swim in to cool down and you can hire canoes & kayaks much cheaper compared to everywhere else we went. Our daughters also loved the hot tub.
It was great after busy days hiking or doing activities to get back there cool down with a swim in the lake, have a BBQ (BBQ areas were clean with very good quality gas BBQ's), sit in the hot tub or just relax.
Its only a few minutes drive to Jasper and unlike Banff it was really easy to find parking close to the centre of town so we didn't find being outside Jasper town a problem for buying food etc.
The staff were always really helpful and friendly. We had a lovely stay and I would definitely recommend staying at Patricia Lake Bungalows.

We stayed for 4 nights in June and will definitely be returning. its a perfect summer getaway in the Rockies. The cabins are lovely and well equipped, the grounds are well managed and there's a lovely atmosphere of quiet friendliness. We spent our time swimming and siting by the lake and going for walks nearby, and in the evenings we used the BBQ which was perfectly maintained and in a good sheltered area (needed on one night of rain). There was a small drain issue on our 3rd day which was sorted immediately. Management and staff couldn't have been better. Thanks for a great holiday and we look forward to returning.

Patricia Lake Bungalows Resort is located on the eastern shore of gorgeous Patricia Lake. Ranging from small, older units to large new multi-level cabins, this family owned property is well-run and clean; offers twice daily service, a playground for kids; a hot tub; and laundry. Our new cabin served our two couples well with split level bedrooms, living room with fireplace, and an outside dining area with a designated grill. Peaceful, beautiful, and great value for the money.

What a fabulous gem! We got a last minute reservation at Patricia Lake after a horrible drive to Jasper and a terrible night at a different Jasper hotel. When we called hoping to get a room the lady at reception was incredibly pleasant and helpful. She was able to not only get us a room, but it was an incredible lakeview cottage. It was clean, and quaint and fully equiped with everything we would need. A gas fireplace, full kitchen and seperate bedroom made it the perfect escape for us. Having my morning cup of tea on their dock over looking the breathtaking view was just what I needed. I only wish we had more time to experience some canoeing and biking in the area. We will be back when we have more time to experience everything this lovely resort has to offer.

fabulous place for a family. They have lots of different types of accommodation so email them with your requirements, no.s of bedrooms, facilities needed etc and they will suggest which of the units would be best for your family size and make-up. Their choice for our family was absolutely perfect.
