Having seen this building lying empty for too many years it was lovely to watch it come to life and be transformed into a lovely beach side restaurant near our favourite paseo in San Pedro. Our first visit was just for drinks and we were made to feel very welcome - complimentary olives and reasonably priced wine in a lovely sun drenched setting (and this was in January!). I suspect it would be very hot in the summer but there are plenty of awnings to allow diners to eat in the shade. Our second visit was for lunch and the food did not disappoint. Service can be quite slow as there is a large area to cover but unless you're in a rush then I would relax, enjoy the setting and the great food.
Probably a victim of its own success, this is usually crowded and so the service suffers.
The food is absolutely fine and our group enjoyed their dishes but I don't think I'm the target market as It is not a relaxing place to enjoy a meal.
I'm not a fan of the location either, on a roundabout at the end of the road along the front at San Pedro beach.
Howver if you want buzzy and busy and to see and be seen then go for it!
Just stopped for a quick drink - lovely location - enjoyed a lovely glass of chilled white - couple of tonic waters - came with dish of olives as a nice aside.
Service was efficient & bill reasonable - ambience very pleasant - will sample the food on another occasion.
Set overlooking the beach this place never fails to deliver. Fantastic starters with a vast choice of mains, the favourite being the black rice, and unlike many typical Spanish restaurants a great dessert selection. Booking essential for the first table at 2 pm to avoid a lengthy wait as once the sun is out the place is rammed. Staff are so busy small talk and trying out your holiday Spanish are not really appreciated, and with all the local families and businessmen present that is testament in itself to the quality available. January outside under a cloudless sky 20’ marvellous food and great company. It doesn’t get any better!
