The fact that we don’t have a studio version of some other guy is heartbreaking… it’s the Beatles at their most punk

So this theme is what if they never wrote a song after 1961 and were the worlds best cover band?

Not at all. Albums #1-4 are additional albums to add the the existent U.K. discography. #1 & 2 are if EMI eventually bought the rights to the pre-EMI material, while 3 & 4 are if EMI had permission to use BBC recordings to make more product. These discs would be released on Parolophone's budget label, Frugal (a fictional label I based on Regal, Columbia's real budget label, which Parlophone eventually owned in the '70's).

There actually was an LP released in Germany (West Germany at the time) called The Beatles Beat

True. That's why I used it (minus the awkward 's') for a fictional U.K. album. I then swiped the "Oldies But Goldies" title from "A Collection of Beatles Oldies (But Goldies)", a compilation whose name I then changed to "A Collection of Beatles Singles". (I also used the "Beatles Beat" cover photo for my visual revision to the U.S. "Something New" album.
