Billecart-Salmon New Releases Masterclass

Saturday 20th April

Join Antoine Roland-Billecart at the Club this April to unveil and taste the latest Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon and Cuvée Louis Salmon releases by Champagne Billecart-Salmon. From the highly rated 2012 vintage, these prestigious champagnes will be tasted alongside the essential range of cuvées, from the Brut Reserve to the Clos St-Hilaire. With six generations before him, Antoine brings an incredible wealth of knowledge and understanding of these wines, and we are privileged to offer such rare access exclusively for our Members.

Leeuwin Estate Art Series Masterclass

Learn about one of the most iconic ranges of wines ever produced: Leeuwin Estate’s Art Series from the Margaret River, Australia. Join Co-CEO Simone Furlong and Chief Winemaker Tim Lovett of Leeuwin Estate for a masterclass at the Club as they take you through the various wines from the Art Series range. Taste the latest Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc releases, as well as some back-vintages, including a 2017 Art Series Chardonnay and a 2014 Art Series Cabernet Sauvignon. We hope to see you there!

Introducing the Alpine Wines of Valle d’Aosta

Discover the region of Valle d’Aosta with Andrea Zarattini, General Manager of the consortium, and learn of its unique wines and indigenous grape varieties, such as Prié Blanc and Fumin. The masterclass will showcase wines from various regional producers, including a local traditional method sparkling wine, a local expression of Nebbiolo, and a back-vintage Fumin wine. This is a rare chance to learn about some of northwest Italy’s hidden gems.

Creation Wine Masterclass

South Africa’s Creation Winery is amongst the most lauded, up-and-coming producers from the scenic Hemel-en-Aarde region of the country. Founded in 2006, the estate has emphasised terroir and quality in its viticultural and winemaking philosophies. 

Join Carolyn Martin, owner of Creation winery, this May at the Club for a masterclass on the exciting Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines from across multiple vintages. Learn about the fascinating Hemel-en-Aarde region and its wines through the lens of Carolyn and Creation.

WSET Level 2 Award in Wines

Starting Tuesday 7th May

WSET courses are widely acknowledged as the global standard in wine education. This course will take you through the wide world of wine, covering everything from vine-growing and winemaking, taking in all the major wine styles of the world. The course will be tutored by our resident Master of Wine – Richard Hemming and Head of Cellar – Vinodhan Veloo DipWSET. Throughout the course, we will taste at least 44 classic examples from our extensive list. For full details on the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines, please click here.

This course consists of four sessions of four hours each, plus an examination of one hour. Please note that an additional 11 hours of private study is recommended to pass. The fee covers all wines, course materials, classroom time, examination and certification.

Join us every Tuesday evening to mingle with fellow Members and learn how you can get the best out of the Club. The evening will kick off with an exclusive tour of the Club’s facilities, including a peek into our cellar and a cosy session in the Living Room with our friendly Membership team.

This event is free to attend for Members and one guest only. Each session has a capacity of 12 participants, and Members can sign up for their preferred session via the Member’s portal.
