We loved the location, the friendly service and the clean, simple rooms. I’m only giving it four stars because there was no hot water on the last day so we had to take freezing cold showers in the middle of winter. Not ideal but that’s the downside of a smaller establishment. Otherwise a wonderful stay in Madrid.

Lovely hotel with excellent staff, well located with great restaurants on the doorstep and an easy walk to most major attractions.
The rooms are well appointed and individual in their decor and the breakfast we had was excellent with a selection of hot and cold choices and great service.
Overall very good and we would certainly stay here again if in Madrid.

Situated within walking distance of most major sites and numerous metro stations this is a great hotel. Clean, nice size room and possessing a great style it is a really nice place to stay. We didn't eat at the restaurant but the place was always packed and the bar was a very nice place to have an end of the day drink. The staff was perfect. Helpful, courteous and friendly in every instance.
I was surprised at how quiet it was considering the busy restaurant bar downstairs.
We will definitely be revisiting this hotel.

Very comfortable property in a good location. Warm, friendly, accommodating staff. A superior breakfast. Stylish but not the least bit pretentious. The radiant floor heating was greatly appreciated during my January visit. Highly recommended.

Small hotel, centrally located. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and soundproofing worked well. This hotel offers extremely good value for the room rate charged. I would stay here again.

I stayed here a few nights ago and really loved it! It was walking distance to Plaza Mayor and to lots of restaurants and cafes. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Cool A/C and good wifi. The staff were friendly and accommodating. There was an included breakfast served in the restaurant next door. Next time I am in Madrid, I will definitely stay again! Highly recommended!

A large, quiet room in this bustling, centrally located part of Madrid. Very clean room, large double bed, wide TV screen, rain shower (unfortunately, over bath), cupboard, fridge, small desk, everything is there. Very friendly staff.

Our room was tremendous. The bed was super-comfortable and huge and the shower and other facilities were great. Our room was on the third floor. It was in the roof of the building, and was very quiet despite the hotel being in a lively street in La Latina. It was a large room but there were sloping ceiling and beams so in some areas you had to mind you head. I think that lower floors have more conventional rooms.

The staff were very friendly and obliging. The bar and restaurant are open to anyone - and Cava Baja is a busy street - so they are well used. There aren't any guest-only communal areas if that's what you're after. However the bar and restaurant were much better than your average hotel.

We skipped the 12 euro breakfast, but having had a very good lunch in the hotel I'd be confident that breakfast is good if you don't fancy the local cafes.

How many beds do you get in a family room and are they all beds or sofa beds?

Hi. We had 2 Double sized beds in a lovely room.

Is the family room noisy?
Answer from Marcos G G
Madrid, Spain
Non of the rooms are noisy because they are properly isolated, on the other hand, if you decide to book a family room we will do the necessary arrangements to allocate you on a higher floor less close to the street and our restaurant. For your information restaurant close at 24.00 and no noise should be done after this hour in the hotel. We don't usually receive guest's complaint about noise to be honest.

Hi. Do you have free, secure parking? Thanks!
Answer from Marcos G G
Madrid, Spain
Hello!, in the hotel we haven't got a parking service and the only possibility is a parking area however isn't free of charge. The name is Parking de La Cebada and is located at the market of Plaza de La Cebada. The price is 32 € per day. If you decide not travelling by car you have a very efficient transport network to move all around the city and beyond. And another option is the taxi. If you need more information, please contact us by telephone at +34911191494. We are also in Facebook, Twitter if needed. Kind regards.

Hi. Do you have free, secure parking?
Answer from Marcos G G
Madrid, Spain
Not in the hotel I am afraid, however there is a Parking area 150 mtrs far from us but it must be pay per day or per hour, the name is Parking de La Cebada. In the surroundings aswell if you park the car you must get a ticket and is underpayment too. On the other hand public transport; bicycle, bus, taxi and undreground are very good options for sightseeing Madrid. For further information please call the hotel at 91 119 14 94, our front-desk team will help you for more details.
