I'm really hoping for Rush Hour 4K trilogy! Especially with rumblings that they're trying to get Rush Hour 4 back on track with Chan and Tucker. I'm still miffed that a standalone blu-ray for Rush Hour 2 never came out! I bought both 1 and 3 on separate sales back in the day for $9.99 each. No way was I gonna buy the trilogy set, particularly with that cover art!

Three new WB100 bundles have appeared on digital storefronts: Action & Adventure, Laughter, and Frights

To my understanding all of the titles in the first bundle have been released on UHD previously.. None for the second or third bundle.. at least one of these titles has it's 20th anniversary coming up too!

George F. mentioned about a year ago that he was petitioning for this movie to get a 4K UHD release.

Will it? I don't know, The Maltese Falcon getting one does give me hope that we'll start getting more great classic Hollywood-era movies that may not be instantly recognizable to Soccer Mom Kelly like The Wizard of Oz and Singin' in the Rain are.

If nothing else if Warner Archive ever starts releasing 4k UHD titles I would imagine this would be one of the first.

It would be cool if THE TREASURE OF THE SIERRA MADRE was one of the upcoming 4K Blu-ray titles.

If it is, I just hope it releases overseas rather than being a US exclusive considering that I might just get that rather than the 90th set

Hopefully a EoE 4K to follow GIANT.
Babylon 5 is definitely my biggest wish for a Blu-ray release, very few of my original release 5 seasons DVD discs play anymore. Although I have been tempted to pick up the DVD set with all movies and TV show Crusade.

But there have been rumblings about it coming out physically floating around the last year or more, so I have been holding off on purchasing the DVD boxed set

Damn, thats a bummer. Dont you wish there were some way of watching it on home video? Maybe you could petition your local TV station to rerun it.

Does anyone have a link to that podcast where George F. said that an MGM 100th anniversary is in the works for 2024?

I guess the questioner is asking whether this release will be better than the current Criterion 4K of Citizen Kane.

But the 2021 Criterion release itself was already a collaboration with Warner, and Warner released Citizen Kane 4K themselves outside the US and Canada at that time.

Can't imagine Warner going back to the elements again and making yet another, better master of the film for this particular box set.

Here's why what we have is the best we'll ever get: https://www.wellesnet.com/citizen-kane-negative/

The good news is that what we have already looks great.

Especially since they supplied Criterion with the elements, and the UK 4K is distributed by Warner already.

Yeah, we know. Because latehong already clarified that in the post of theirs that you quoted, in one of the lines you chose to omit.

Looking forward to which of your stock indignant responses you choose to reply with.

What stock indignant response are you looking for? What won't trigger you?
