Food is just average price is ok but what I don’t understand is after service charge 10% still charge +tip card 10% with out any agree from us and handing fee . End up pay more 25% from the food price I understand on service charge 10% but if the service is good we willing to give tip but not the way to make it without asking .won't come back again. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Hi Walaimart! We do have a surcharge on weekends and public holidays (which are both listed on our menus). We have no mandatory tip but our eftpos machines do have a question …Hi Walaimart! We have no mandatory tip but our eftpos machines do have a question of whether you would like to leave a tip which is completely up to the customer and not accessible to alter by staff. The handling fee of 1.65 % is only on card transactions and charged by our provider (again listed on the menu and also on the eftpos machines themselves). Hope this clears things up! Ordered the linguini and the gnocchi ragu. I’ll start by saying, despite other reviews saying the servers were bad, everyone was so friendly and polite to us. So great job by the servers. However, the food The prices are mental. $36 for a small-medium serving of pasta? $35 for a pizza? $60 for HALF a roasted chicken??? I don’t know who came up with those prices but it seems like the owners need a reality check. The gnocchi was alright, however the ragu and sauce were extremely salty. Borderline inedible. I politely passed this feedback onto the server who said she would let the chef know. So I’m hoping they can improve on that. The linguini - this dish was absolutely swimming in oil. The photo I attached doesn’t even do it justice. It was a river of oil which is a shame because it has the potential to be a great dish. Overall: friendly service, below average food, ridiculous prices, bad atmosphere (it’s a restaurant in a shopping centre, so what do you expect). I wouldn’t personally recommend this place to anyone. Great experience at Cinque Terre Chadstone. Ambience was fantastic and fit out was beautiful. Pizza's were delicious. Recommend the sausage and mushroom Pizza. Will definitely be back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–40
