The Wandering D A fun movie but not better than the original. Still a good watch. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/18/24 Full Review Me D The movie was funny and overall has a more interesting plot, but there are still some really stupid things here. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/15/24 Full Review Amir A Way better than the first in every way. sure there are some parts of the movie that were confusing and hard to get into, this movie is saved by great chemistry and likeable characters. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/07/24 Full Review Weighty Connected L A handsome ensemble cast and their performances make this 2004 heist film entertaining enough, the lines are humorous, with music that matches it. Steven Soderbergh shot this film stylishly, though I think the story could be better. Of course, the fact that this is a story about stealing is an issue as well. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/05/24 Full Review Paul S This movie was not very good. The script, it felt like, there were like three then being mashed together like some weird Tarantino movie. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/29/24 Full Review matthias s "Ocean's Twelve" waltzes onto the screen with the same suave swagger that made its predecessor a hit, but this time, the charm feels a bit more forced. The ensemble cast, led by George Clooney and Brad Pitt, still oozes charisma, yet the plot seems to have taken a detour through a maze of convoluted twists. While the heist premise is thrilling, the execution leaves you scratching your head more than applauding. The addition of Catherine Zeta-Jones injects a dose of sizzling tension, but it sometimes feels like she stumbled into the wrong movie. Director Steven Soderbergh maintains his stylish visuals, but the narrative acrobatics become a double-edged sword, leaving the audience dizzy at times. The witty banter and camaraderie save the day, rescuing the film from drowning in its own complexity. "Ocean's Twelve" might not match the brilliance of its predecessor, but it's still an enjoyable caper, albeit with a touch of sophomore slump. Wendy Ide Times (UK) An exercise in Rat Pack razzle dazzle, wrapped in enviable tailoring and topped off with 12 pairs of perfect white teeth, the film milks every last drop of fun from the easy onscreen camaraderie of the ultimate in-crowd. Jul 3, 2023 Full Review David Ansen Newsweek Ocean's Twelve is busier, messier and thinner than its predecessor, and while it looks like the cast is having a blast and a half, the studied hipness can get so pleased with itself it borders on the smug. Mar 13, 2018 Full Review Nell Minow Movie Mom Rated: B+ Feb 18, 2012 Full Review Nick Rogers Midwest Film Journal With such a charismatic cast, it’s impossible for "Ocean’s Twelve" to be an awful bore. But it’s an underwhelming case of six of stars, half-a-dozen of the other that doesn’t let everyone, including the audience, in on the fun. Rated: 2.5/4 Nov 9, 2023 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review A breezier, laid-back affair, with less to prove and more freedom to explore. Rated: 3.5/4 Jun 22, 2023 Full Review Sean Axmaker Stream on Demand It’s utterly silly and featherweight, but Soderbergh knows how to make it swing and the fun-loving camaraderie he captures on camera is so convincing that you feel like a part of the fun.
