What travelers are saying
- Alessi83133 contributionsGreat opportunity to learn about the real Greenland and its history and customs. The location is perfect, in the colonial section of the town and on the ocean.Written August 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - travelbugapril65Washington DC, DC37 contributionsWe took this glacier fjord trip and it did not disappoint . The captain and attendant were attentive, answering all questions, providing background about what we were seeing.Written September 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - elmajoe3Longwood, FL30 contributionsOutstanding facility for concerts, cultural activities, and dining. I took my friends Nanook here for dinner on 11/2/2023, and the food was excellent and we had a very good time.Written November 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jbg74Saint Paul, MN1,057 contributionsThis is a beautiful, small, partially abandoned settlement on a small island in the fjord near Nuuk. No one lives here full-time anymore but many people still use their family homes as a weekend summer getaway place.Written May 13, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Deb WReno, NV2,571 contributionsThis picturesque church was closed due to a local wedding. Getting to see the wedding party in traditional dress was a treat. Be sure to climb the hill in front of the church for spectacular views.Written August 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - elmajoe3Longwood, FL30 contributionsI really enjoyed touring with University of Greenland with the tour guide in October 2019. Very interesting paintings of Inuit life on the walls of the school. Beautiful building as well.Written December 31, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jeff KPittsburgh, PA2,111 contributionsNot sure why this is listed as an attraction as it’s just a mall. It was nice, though. They have a good variety of stores and the place is much more vibrant than the average US mall.
Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby.Written June 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Mostly local kids but a fun place to spend a couple of hours. You can hire skis and snowboards on the mountain and there is also a cafe. No clothing hire.
Beautiful views over the water! A really unique place to do a few turns.Written February 17, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The price was very reasonable ($3 USD) and they have a nice gift shop.
None of the signage is in English so we didn’t get much out of it. The older photos of Nuuk were about the only thing of interest to us.
Don’t expect much unless you can read Danish or Greenlandic.Written June 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Jeff KPittsburgh, PA2,111 contributionsNot sure why this is listed as an attraction. It’s not open to the public and it isn’t even marked with a sign. We found it but it took some effort. Note that most of the TA photos for this attraction have nothing to do with it.
The listing for this one should be deleted. Don’t waste your time looking for it.Written June 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
