Nikola Vucevic and the Chicago Bulls have agreed to a contract extension, the team announced on Wednesday.

Vucevic, who was set to become an unrestricted free agent on Friday, will remain in the Windy City on a reported three-year, $60 million extension, per multiple reports.

The veteran center has averaged a double-double each season since joining the Bulls at the trade deadline in March 2021. He’s averaged similar stat lines the last two campaigns — 17.6 points and 11 rebounds — and served as one of 10 players who played in every game last season.

Vucevic is entering the 13th season of his career, suiting up for the Philadelphia 76ers and Orlando Magic since being drafted No. 16 overall in 2011.

Chicago’s remaining free agents include Patrick Beverley, Ayo Dosunmu, Andre Drummond, Javonte Green, Derrick Jones Jr. and Coby White.
